'Darkest Dungeon' was recently updated as the devs unveil the full changelog of the game on Steam.
- Weapon icons visually upgrade as you increase weapon level (armor icons will be coming in a future patch)
- Click to dismiss a hero 'bark' - toggle in the Options screen
- Added logic to avoid edge case bark stacking delays
- Health bars animate to show damage more clearly
- Damage Over Time (DoT) is now properly applied without delay at the start of an enemy turn saving 1.8 secs of hang time per DoT'd enemy!
- Removed waits when applying effects that did not have results (for example, curing blight on a hero that isn't blighted)
- Selective RNG shaping and tuning to prevent unintended edge cases
- Fix for exploit to complete quest multiple times when quitting out of the raid results screen
- Added logic to reduce back to back hero act outs of the same type
- Fix to quest generation problem when plot quests are avoided and roster is all high level
- Random kill boss quests are no longer generated (This was leading to problems where a particular variant of boss (e.g. Swine Prince) was being named, but it was actually a higher difficulty boss (e.g. Swine God). Now, only plot quests will generate bosses.)
- Buffs now update when torch level changes
- Some Dodges now properly display as Misses
- Fixed battle icon rendering gold when being ambushed
- Various save file fixes
- Improved save recovery

* - Please note that we are not changing the minimum system requirements at this time.
IMPORTANT: Save file location on PC has now been changed to the user's "My Documents" folder to support Windows XP (since it does not have a native Saved Games directory). Your old saves will still be in the previous Saved Games location as this is currently a "copy" and not a "move", but they will no longer be updated.
