'Yet Another Zombie Defense' Update: New Content, Bug Fixes, Gameplay Improvements And More!

"Yet Another Zombie Defense" was recently updated by Awesome Games Studio and the full changelog for the recent patch was unveiled on Steam.

Awesome Games Studio apologized on Steam regarding the long the wait for the update for "Yet Another Zombie Defense" as they state that they hope that the next update would come sooner.

"Apologies to everyone who waited for the update for too long and hopefully next time the wait will be much shorter!" as was stated by Awesome Games Studio on Steam.

The devs also released the full changelog for the February 17 update of "Yet Another Zombie Defesce" on their post.

The new update adds some useful gear to help you fight the zombie horde:

- Chainsaw

- Freeze gun

- Blaster

- Grenades

- Landmines

- Electro barricades

- Upgraded turrets

It also includes a lot of rendering optimizations that allowed some balance changes:

- There can now be up to 50% more zombies on screen at the same time

- Zombies get tougher at a slower rate than before

- Basic turret's cost reduced to $6000

Awesome Games Studio describes the game as, "'Yet Another Zombie Defense' is all about defending yourself against hordes of undead attacking you every night. However, when you're the only survivor struggling against waves of enemies who are getting stronger and stronger, your end is inevitable."

"The game is a top-down arcade zombie shooter with strategy elements." Awesome Games Studio added, "You're able to choose from variety of weapons to mount them onto auto turrets and set up defensive barricades to stay alive as long as you can. It's for gamers who like to put their skills to the test, find optimal strategy, and reach the highest spot on leaderboards! It also features online co-op mode, where you can blast zombies with up to three friends!"
