The pay-per-view subscription to the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight on May 2 will cost about $90. Meanwhile, Muhammad Ali denies that he is picking Pacman over Mayweather.

ESPN reported that both Showtime and HBO have confirmed that the suggested retail price for the upcoming fight of Mayweather and Pacquiao is $89.95. This SRP sets a new record, which is about 40 percent above the previous high of 64.95 percent during the fight between Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez in September 2013. The fight of the millennium between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is expected to break the current record for the pay-per-view of $152 million. Others who cannot afford PPV may see the fight at a bar, but the publication wrote that there remains the question whether bars will make a profit from it.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Muhammad Ali is rooting for Manny Pacquiao after his daughter Rasheda said that her dad is "Team Pacquiao all the way," according to TMZ.

However, Muhammad Ali's publicist released a statement that Ali has not offered his opinion to anyone.

"Muhammad never offered to anyone his prediction and information that was published earlier this week and picked up by other media is either a misquote or someone else's personal opinion, the stories saying that Muhammad Ali has chosen a favorite in the fight are false," Ali's publicist wrote in a statement, according to Yahoo Sports.

He added that Muhammad Ali has "utmost respect" for Pacquiao and Mayweather and wish them well on the fight on May 2. He will join the rest of the world to watch the fight.

"Muhammad Ali would like to wish both Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao well in their upcoming fight," he added.
