Good news for wrestling fans -- former Olympic wrestler Sara McMann is determined to go toe-to-toe with Cat "Alpha" Zingano.

Former Olympic wrestler Sara McMann reportedly wants to knock down Cat Zingano who, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be excited about the idea.

Fresh from her 14-second defeat at UFC 184, Zingano made it clear that she wanted to step right back into the Octagon with another top contender in the UFC women's bantamweight division and it looks like mixed martial artist Sara McMann is more than happy to oblige.

On the April 8 edition of UFC Tonight, MMAFighting's Ariel Helwani reported that McMann and her manager, Monte Cox, believe that such a fight would benefit both contenders at this point in their careers.

"Sara McMann wants to fight Cat Zingano next. Zingano told me she's taking it slow and not sure yet," said Helwani.

McMann, who is the first American woman in history to receive a silver medal in Olympic wrestling, conquered her first seven-career MMA fight before losing to Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey in a UFC 170 title bout. Since then, she has had a couple of nail biting bouts, winning a split decision over Lauren Murphy in August and dropping a majority decision to Miesha Tate at UFC 183, according to MMAMania.

Zingano, after winning her first nine career bouts, lost to Rousey in an epic match.

Ronda successfully defended her 135-pound title at UFC 184, putting a stop to Cat Zingano's dream of becoming a champion. Rousey employed her infamous arm bar that won her the match in less than a minute -- 14 seconds to be exact.

According to MMAFighting, Zingano, who has been referred to as a slow starter, rushed out at Rousey at the start of their Feb. 28 bout. She missed with a flying knee and ended up trapped in a patented Ronda Rousey arm bar.

That said, Zingano has never been one to live life with regrets and she's definitely not one to doubt herself for her approach to fighting arguably the most dominant female fighter in UFC.
