The Huawei Honor 6 Plus SIM-free version is now available in the UK, according to Android Central.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus 4G Dual SIM-free smartphone is available for pre-order via Amazon UK and the item is due to be released on May 18 for £299 (approx. $453). Three UK is reportedly offering the device in black while the Amazon has the black and white version. Customers who ordered via Three UK will receive the handsets starting May 6.
As for its specs, according to GSM Arena, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and ppi of 401. The device is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor with quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15 and quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7. It has 3GB of RAM and a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU.
The device has a built-in memory of 16GB for the 3G model and 16/32GB for the LTE model. This can be expanded up to 128GB via memory card. When it comes to the operating system, the handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus has a dual 8MP rear camera with an F2.0 aperture, dual LED flash and other features, such as high dynamic range mode, face detection, Geo-tagging and touch focus. The device's front-facing camera has 8MP with a 5P lens, a Sony BSI sensor and can take 1080 resolution videos at 30fps.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus has a 3,600mAh battery and also features one nano-SIM slot and one micro SIM slot. The device can support 4G LTE Cat6, which allows to download speeds as fast as 300Mbps.
