In other news, it has recently been confirmed that a "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" will be released on Aug. 7, with a US release set on winter this year.
Speaking to Crunchy Roll, Kishimoto revealed that the film will be introducing several new characters, meaning everyone will basically start from square one.
He also stated that this is the first time after 10 previous "Naruto" films that he had to work with the film's character designers to write the screenplay for "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." According to Kishimoto this is the "Naruto" film he always wanted to make.
The movie will reportedly focus on Naruto and his son's relationship and fans will find out if Boruto will be as good as his father.
"This Boruto movie features all new characters, starting everything from zero. It means, it still exists only in my head, who is the original creator."
