Spoilers for season 5 of "Once Upon A Time" revealed that Hook will not leave the side of Emma, even if she's already the Dark One. Meanwhile, Regina is quite comfortable about her new role as the hero.

In an interview with E! News, Colin O'Donoghue said that Hook's relationship with Emma has become "awkward."

"He spent so long trying to kill the Dark One and now he's going out with her," he said. "Look, Hook loves Emma and he wants to try and protect her heart at any cost."

"He spent most of last season trying to save her from the darkness, not to let her go, because he knows what that's like. Unfortunately she's now dark so he's going to try and fight to bring her back to who she used to be."

Lana Parilla also dished "Once Upon a Time" season 5 spoilers as she said that Regina will have to be very careful on how to deal with the Dark Emma.

"The Dark One is the most powerful, so [Regina] has to be extremely strategic in how she is going to approach this new Dark One," she said. "Stepping into this role of being the hero/savior is new for Regina."

"I don't know if she's going to be very comfortable in being that person in everyone's lives or having to now be the new savior but it will be fun to see how she accepts that or denies it and what she does with this new role," the actress added.

Jennifer Morrison teased "Once Upon a Time" season 5 spoilers that Emma will have a huge challenge ahead of her.

"Emma went through a lot in her life," the actress told Entertainment Weekly. "She had a tough childhood. She's had to overcome a lot of things. She's tried to be the bigger person."

"Now that she's tethered to the darkness, she's free of that ... She's going to face the darkness in herself and figure out how to overcome it."

Watch out for more spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" season 5 which will be published here when they become available. The series resumes on Sunday, Sept. 27, on ABC.
