It has been rumored for months now that George Clooney and his wife, Amal Alamuddin, are purportedly having marriage problems that could possibly lead to divorce even before their first year anniversary.
Amal Alamuddin may have made an honest man out of George Clooney who used to be dubbed as "the world's most eligible bachelor," but the Hollywood star's wife is purportedly insecure of his loyalty to her.
Apparently, George Clooney's wife is allegedly still jealous of his ex-girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, as well as his other former girlfriends. Amal Alamuddin purportedly wants her husband to get rid of his properties that could bring back memories of the women of his past.
OK! Magazine reported that George Clooney is allegedly sellling his "villa in Italy, his beach house in Cabo, his apartment in New York City, and his house in the popular Los Angeles area, Fryman Cannon," in order to appease his wife.
"Those houses hold a lot of happy memories for George but she hates the thought of sleeping in the same rooms as his former lovers," OK! Magazine wrote. "He knows that it is pointless arguing with her, she is a lawyer and she always wins."
According to the report, George Clooney and his wife allegedly got into a fight after Amal Alamuddin allegedly found Elisabetta Canalis' possessions that she left behind in the actor's Comos Villa.
"It's not a total loss, George is set to make over $100 Million by his real estate sales - but it is the principle of it," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
"If you have to sell four houses just to keep your wife happy, then chances are your relationship is not going to last. Selling his prized homes is really just a temporary band-aid. Eventually, George and Amal are going to wind up divorced anyways - and that means he will have sold his homes for nothing."
