While airline safety has come to the forefront of air travel after recent tragic crashes by Airasia and German Dreamliner, the long queues, safety checks and the safety speech demo's by fight attendants are more than just a little tedious to passengers. However. Huffington Post reported that a flight attendant on west jet got laughs, applause and a viral video out of his safety demonstration.
Steward Mike McAdam had passengers laughing from their bellies on a West Jet flight from Las Vegas to Regina after his funny display of putting on oxygen masks and using emergency exits.
"We had the best in flight crew on WestJet. Laughed so hard," Lumsden veterinarian Tanya Marshall wrote on Facebook, according to a Huffington Post report.
"We had the best in flight crew on WestJet," the clinic posted to Facebook along with the video. "Laughed so hard... Enjoy, we certainly did!" The video has since gone viral.
"I am a flight attendant and NEVER have I heard people so enthused about the safety demo. BRAVO!" said a Facebook comment appreciating the flight attendant on West Jet.
A vet posted a video of the incredibly funny scene on Facebook/TM'z Veterinary Clinic with the caption, "A Westjet flight attendant's inflight safety performance made this flight a little more memorable."
The video picked up speed quickly to gain 7.5 million views and 170, 000 shares.
"Flying home from the fabulous TPLO conference.... We had the best in flight crew on West Jet," said a passenger, stuff.co.in reported. "Laughed so hard. Only had a chance to video the French portion of the pre flight instructions! Enjoy, we certainly did!"
"Sometimes, all it takes is one hilariously sassy flight attendant. Passengers on a Westjet flight bound for Saskatchewan in Canada were treated to an unforgettable safety announcement," Yahoo reported .
