The September 2 broadcast of the SBS program, "Midnight TV" featured an interview with the husband of the woman who is involved in the alleged sex tape of "Running Man" star, Gary (Kang Gary). During the episode, host Yoon Do Hyun spoke with the man, who chose to remain anonymous.

According to an article published by TV Daily, the man featured in the interview initially considered divorcing his wife, after learning about the sex tape.

"Actually, my wife is still in an unstable state," said the man, in his interview with the newscaster. "At the time when I first saw the movie, I thought I should divorce her. I had a lot of different ideas, but I chose to stand by my wife."

The television appearance of the unidentified man comes on the heels of reports that Gary would pursue legal action against those responsible for leaking the illicit footage. During the "Midnight TV" segment, the unknown husband of the woman expressed similar sentiments. "I hope the person or persons who were responsible for the dissemination receive strong punishment," said the unidentified man.

He experienced a strong reaction to the shocking footage, which came after he was only married to his wife for three months.

Reports about the alleged sex tape began on August 29 through an exclusive report by the Korean outlet Starin, that has since been removed. On August 31, the LeeSsang rapper categorically denied rumors of the tape and vowed to take legal against those who were responsible for the scandal.

Gary is the latest target of an alleged sex tape scandal. In July 2015, actress Lee Si Young was the focus of alleged illicit footage, which was later deemed as a forgery.
