The Chicago Bulls will be trading Taj Gibson for Sacramento Kings' Rudy Gay, if the latest NBA trade rumors are to be believed.

Multiple reports suggest that the Bulls will be returning next season with the exact same line-up, relying on their new head coach Fred Hoiberg to be the difference-maker. The players remained confident of their chances in winning this season's championship.

The news came as no surprise given their solid roster, however, sports analysts claim that the team could better improve by having Gibson on board. While they have great players at the power forward position, the Bulls are struggling to find the right person for the small forward spot.

"The Bulls deeply need a premier talent at small forward after James burned his undersized defender over and over again," Yibada explained.

"At 6-foot-8, the 29-year old Gay can sure hold his ground against James and give the Bulls another shot creator along with Butler at the wing."

The latest trade rumors suggest that Rudy Gay will be the right for Chicago Bulls by taking the small forward slot. With Gay's help, the Bulls could reportedly easily be the "No.1 threat to Cleveland Cavaliers' reign," the publication added.

Meanwhile, it has long been rumored that Taj Gibson will be on the trading block this season. Seeing how Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic performed last season, the team realized that it was time to let Gibson go.

"Gibson is a quality player, but he is coming off of ankle surgery and is making over $8 million per season, which could be a bit much for a reserve player," noted Sports World Report.

"The team also added Bobby Portis in the draft, so they have some solid depth now at forward."
