Sung Joon is the latest actor to be named as a possible cast member for the upcoming jTBC medical series, "Madame Antoine."

On October 14, Hankooki announced that the "High Society" star could join Han Ye Seul, as potential candidates for the drama. The article cited an unnamed source from the production, who confirmed that the model-turned-actor is positively considering the project.

Additional details about "Madame Antoine" were also released, including clarification regarding the screenwriter and production team. While previous reports announced that "Madame Antoine" would be the next project from the Hong Sisters, it was revealed that Hong Jin Ah, whose previous projects include "School 3," "The King 2 Hearts" and "Beethoven Virus," will be responsible for the script.

Kim Yun Cheol, whose prior series include "Can We Get Married?" and "Que Sera Sera," will direct the upcoming drama.

Sung Joon continues to reinvent his image, as an actor who has effectively portrayed a shy, guy-next-door and a sociopathic killer. His notable roles include indie rocker Kwon Ji Hyuk in the 2011 tvN series, "Shut Up Flower Boy," Gon in MBC's supernatural period drama, "Gu Family Book," and Joo Wan in "I Need Romance 3." He continued his run as the ideal man in "Discovery of Romance," before embracing less personable characters.

In 2015, he tackled the role of a mentally ill psychoanalyst in "Jekyll, Hyde and I." He followed with Choi Joon Ki, a conflicted salaryman who falls in love with an heiress after attempting to manipulate her, in the hit SBS series, "High Society."

"Madame Antoine" is slated to premiere after the conclusion of the disaster series, "D-Day."
