Jo Bo Ah, Lee Sang Yeob, And Do Kyung Wan are confirmed to host the "2020 KBS Drama Awards!"
Today, Dec.22, KBS announced that Jo Bo Ah, Lee Sang Yeob, and Do Kyung Wan are the confirmed hosts for the "2020 KBS Drama Awards." The three celebrities mentioned above have all appeared in KBS's variety shows and/or dramas in the past.
KBS announcer Do Kyung Wan has been gaining plenty of attention and positive feedback for his excellent hosting skills in the variety show programs, called "The Return of Superman" and "Fun-Staurant." The show host was born in Seongju-gun, South Korea, on March 31, 1982. He is known as the husband of famous trot singer Jang Yoon Jeung. Both celebrities appeared on the KBS show Return of Superman in 2014 for their son Yeon Woo's birth.
South Korean actress, model, and host Jo Bo Ah started her career in the entertainment industry way back in 2011 with a small role in the daily sitcom I Live in Cheongdam-dong on cable channel jTBC. Following this, the actress appeared on the audition program Made in U as the host and also participated in the Korean-Japanese co-production Koisuru Maison Rainbow Rose.
Then, in 2012, Jo Bo Ah bagged her first-ever major role as a former rich girl who falls for a rocker in tvN's coming-of-age series Shut Up Flower Boy Band. Since then, the actress has appeared in her first network TV series with a supporting role in the MBC period drama Horse Doctor. Fast forward to this year 2020, the actress starred in the romance drama Forest as a doctor,. This was followed by the just concluded fantasy drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed starring as a television producer.
Lee Sang Yeob is an actor widely known for starring in the sitcom Living Among the Rich (2011-12), the melodrama The Innocent Man (2012), the period drama Jang Ok-Jung, Living by Love (2013), and the fantasy drama While You Were Sleeping (2017). He gained further recognition for his performance in the weekend family drama "Once Again," released in 2020. Lee Sang Yeob is the grandson of the former Dongguk Jaekang chairman Kim Jong Jin.

The KBS Drama Awards is an awarding ceremony organized by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) for outstanding achievements in Korean dramas being aired on its channel. The ceremony is being held every year, usually every December 31. The highest award given in this event is the "Grand Prize" award also known as the Daesang award which is given to the best actor or actress of the year.
This year's KBS Drama Awards (2020) is scheduled to broadcast on December 31 at 8:30 p.m. KST. The awarding ceremony will be different this year since the event will be held without an audience due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
