South Korean actress Ku Hye Sun recently made headlines for smashing her iPhone with a hammer to cut ties with people, making the viewers worry.
The actress has been confirmed to appear in the upcoming episode of Kakao TV's "Face ID" on Dec. 28. A sneak peek of her appearance in the show was released on Dec. 21, and the clip featured the actress holding a hammer to smash her cell phone while she was inside her work studio.
She then banged the hammer on her phone while asking, "Should I smash it again?" Then she went on hitting the phone a few times more. Ku Hye Sun then expressed, "What's the best thing to do in order to break ties with people? Just dispose of your cell phone."
Witnessing this scene, a lot of viewers felt worried towards the actress. Some even felt disturbed by her actions. The viewers also expressed their thoughts online and posted the following:
"Is she a psycho or what. This is somehow scary, not entertaining at all..."
"It's getting scary."
"She really needs to see her doctor at this point."
"I really hope she is healthy physically and mentally," and more.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the viewers felt worried about Ku Hye Sun's mental condition. Previously, the actress appeared as a guest on MBC's variety show "Point of Omniscient Interfere." On the Nov. 7 episode of the show, the actress was featured getting ready for her art exhibition. While preparing for the said event, Ku Hye Sun expressed her feelings and shared that she feels anxious about checking the place. The actress stated that she feels like the exhibition looks uninteresting and that she feels very unsatisfied with just about everything. She then expressed that she wants people to see more but doesn't want anyone to come to the exhibition.
Another video footage shows Ku Hye Sun talking about the exhibition, where she reveals that she feels like it should have been a video exhibition and thinks she made "a wrong calculation." Then she added that she loves herself but doesn't know why she's not feeling satisfied. As she continued expressing her thought, she also said that she usually enjoys being amazing, but she has felt quite smaller and smaller these days.
Upon hearing the statement, many fans and viewers felt worried about her and they are expressing their heartfelt concern for her mental health. It even came to a point where most of the fans tried to contact and reach out to her agency just to let the actress know that she needs to take extra care of herself.
The South Korean actress, singer-songwriter, director and artist Ku Hye Sun was born on November 9, 1984. The 36-year-old actress became widely recognized for her portrayal in television dramas namely, Pure in Heart (2006), The King And I (2007), Boys Over Flowers (2009), Take Care of Us, Captain (2012), Angel Eyes (2014) and Blood (2015).
