Kang Tae Oh talked about relationships and gave love advice during his interview with Elle Korea.

The "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star even opened up about his experience with one-sided love.

How Kang Tae Oh Moved on from Unrequited Love

Even heartthrobs like Kang Tae Oh had their fair share of experience with heartbreaks, as for him he confessed about having unrequited love in the past.

During the interview, the actor had to pick love questions out of a box and had to give a piece of advice to it.

One asked about how to deal with someone who has feelings for him/her but the person couldn't reciprocate the same emotion.

The 28-year-old star delivered an on point advice and explained the person will know that they are being intentionally rejected and wouldn't really feel that the distance happened naturally.

However, he confessed that he experienced having a one-sided love and opened up about liking someone who doesn't like him back.

In addition, Kang Tae Oh also revealed that girls in the past have indirectly rejected him.

"So, if I were you, I would tell them straight; be completely honest with them. Otherwise, you could just string them along even though that wasn't what you were meant to do," he said and pointed out that it should be done in a nice and firm way and say how you truly feel.

As the interview continues, the breakout star was asked about his thoughts on moving on from a breakup.

He shared his own experience and mentioned intense feelings of sadness as if nothing would heal his heart.

However, Kang Tae Oh explained that one person should see heartbreaks as a "big part of growing up."

"I personally just faced the pain every day. Then, one day, the pain was gone. But I don't think this is a good idea. It's too extreme," he added.

Kang Tae Oh's Elle Korea appearance comes ahead of his upcoming enlistment.

Kang Tae Oh Enlistment Details

Following the success of the hit ENA series "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" where he gets to play the role of Lee Jun Ho, who falls in love with Woo Young Woo played by Park Eun Bin, the breakout star announced plans for his enlistment.

At the height of the romance life K-drama, his agency Man of Creation confirmed that the actor has plans to enlist however, at the time, the date is yet to be confirmed.

However, on August 31, during his first ever virtual meet and greet, "TikTok Stage Connect: SweeTaeOh" he personally announced his enlistment date.

Kang Tae Oh's enlistment is set on September 20 and will be fulfilling his duty in the army as an active-duty soldier.

In a heartfelt message to fans, he expressed his deep gratitude and thanked them for "making such good memories" with him, and promised to "return with a healthy mindset."

Apart from Kang Tae Oh's enlistment, he is also looking forward to the release of his new movie with Shin Hye Sun.
