According to a report, the lead stars have been dating prior to the start of the "King the Land" filming. Rumor sparked that Lee JunHo and YoonA accepted the offer to headline the JTBC rom-com series because of their relationship off-screen.
In the weekend K-drama, viewers were drawn to their characters' unlikely romance as the singer-actor plays as chaebol heir Gun Won while YoonA, who portrays Cheon Sa Rang, is known as the "queen of smiles" of King Hotel.
Besides the interesting story, viewers love the chemistry and amazing team-up of Girls' Generation's YoonA and 2PM's Lee Junho.
YoonA and Lee Junho's Agency Responds to Dating Rumors
Shortly after the news broke, the celebrities' respective agencies gave a brief statement regarding the dating rumors.
Herald Pop obtained the labels' first statement about the relationship of "King the Land" stars, and both JYP Entertainment and SM Entertainment said that they "are looking into the reports."
Moreover, the outlet also mentioned that it was the first time that both agencies had heard the dating rumor.

Over social media, fans and viewers of "King The Land" are screaming in delight upon learning the dating news. They mentioned how the drama feels genuine because, apparently, YoonA and Lee Junho "are not just acting, because it's real."

After garnering impressive viewership during its first week, "King the Land's rating jumps to an all-time high for its third week.
According to a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 12 percent, for its sixth episode.
The rom-com series showed a huge increase in rating after jumping from its previous personal best of 9.7 percent viewership.

On the other hand, the JTBC weekend K-drama entered the weekly rankings for Most Buzzworthy drama and took the second spot next to "Dr. Romantic 3."
For the third week of June, Good Data Corporation's weekly list hailed Lee Junho as the leading actor, ranking him in first place, while YoonA took the second spot.
This only shows how the public anticipates and continues to get hooked on every episode of "King the Land."
