Jeon So Nee Reveals First Impression On New Netflix Film

On February 29, MEN Noblesse editorial team revealed its exclusive interview with rising actress Jeon So Nee.

She shared her excitement about her brand new film "Parasyte: The Grey," which is based on the original Japanese webtoon of the same name by Hitoshi Iwaaki.

The show depicts the stories of humans who co-exists with parasitical life-forms inside their bodies after trying to invade Earth from outer space.

Jeon So Nee shared that the work scarred her as a child due to its gruesome graphics. However, after being cast, the comic book stirred excitement as it opened a new world for her.

She revealed that she spent more than 6 hours reading the comic book, thanks to its engrossing narrative. The actress said, "I was able to experience the depth of the original work."

According to Jeon So Nee, the key point that viewers shou;dn't miss in the film is its core values, and how the philosophical woes about classes in human society were interpolated.

In addition, she asked fans to tune in the film to see how she improved as an actress. Jeon So Nee confessed that she felt immense pressure after accepting the drama offer.

"Since it's a work that had accumulated a big fanbase, I didn't want to disappoint them," she admitted. "I wonder whether fans want to see the original work rather than a differentiated film."

The actress added, "I'm thankful that I was chosen to participate in the work so I really prepared a lot for the film. I hope fans will love it."

Moreover, the film is helmed by the legendary director Yeon Sang Ho who also directed "Train To Busan" and "Hellbound." With this, a great caliber of work is highly guaranteed. Don't miss the premiere of "Parasyte: The Grey" this April 5 on Netflix.
