The feature film debut of Red Velvet's Yeri, Kim Ye-rim, will be in the mysterious horror movie "Next." The new film, according to Naver, will be directed by emerging director Son Dong-wan.
The storyline of the horror movie revolves around a Korean school. The students of 3rd-year Class 5 delve into necromancy to bring back a sister who disappeared in another world.

Modeled after Yeri, Park Ja-young is the responsible class president of 3rd-year Class 5, who knows about the loss of her sister and takes a direct part in the revival of her spirit.
In the process, various strange occurrences begin to happen at the school, leading to the discovery of Ja-young's sister's spirit.
Ta-Jin, portrayed by Park Seo-joon, fails to maintain the position of class leader. Ta-Jin, the school's most capable and relentless student council president, goes on a hunting trip and accidentally shoots Park Ja-young.
