During a Wednesday press conference promoting the upcoming LGBTQIA+ K-drama Love in the Big City, its lead actors, Jin Ho Eun and Nam Yoon Su, revealed a surprise personal connection.

Jin Ho Eun, who stars as Gyu Ho, revealed that he and his lover on the show Go Young, Nam Yoon Su, were in the same class at school, leaving a strong impression in their romantic scenes.

"It was very moving for me to work with Nam Yoon Su," Jin said. "We went to the same high school, and back then, he was like a star in the sky to me. That is why it is so special that in this project, I am his truly loved one".

Nam Yoon Su complimented his colleague, while the fans have already managed to love the duo.
"Today, I am very proud. I was worried that such a beautiful co-star would not want to touch me at all. But he told me that everything would be fine," Jin said.

Love in the Big City is an adaptation of Park Sang Young's eponymous bestseller. The plot follows the character Go Young, played by Nam Yoon Su, a gay person with a peculiar perception and a traveler from Humrer who travels back in time to 2000.

Following the social pressure and refusal to be accepted by the family, he executes "perfect magic" and closes up with people. In a short time, he meets a man who is love at first sight for him, a relationship that grows into a felony and a two-year separation.

The film is most likely to meet the fate of the book, which was financed by individuals with homophobic views but likely not read by them. Jin Ho Eun said that per Park Sang Young, Nam will look very cool. The series will be streamable on the Rakuten Viki site from October 21.
