Nam Bo Ra, known as the first daughter among 13 siblings, recently expressed her disbelief about becoming engaged through her YouTube channel, Nam Bo Ra's Life Theater. It issued the statement on October 20.
Nam has shown clips of the moment her non-celebrity boyfriend proposed to her during a dinner in Tokyo, as she announced, "I got a proposal while travelling to Japan."
Nam Bo Ra, 34, was eating and chatting casually with the camera in the video when she was surprised.
It then abruptly faded to black, leaving fans on the edge of their seats before transitioning into a sentimental scene featuring the engagement ring and sweet couple shots.
The surprise brought so much joy that Nam Bo Ra was moved to tears as her fiancé put the ring on her finger.
She also shared her happiness: "I thought to myself that I really have a good partner who is like me, and finally we will be together for a lifetime."
She continued by saying she would love to share lovely experiences with her audience.
The video showed Nam on a trip to Japan, receiving a marriage proposal after visiting a restaurant.
Still overwhelmed with emotion as she recalled his proposal, she added: "I was shocked. No, you should have told me before; there must be something like this."
Nam, meanwhile, was moved by the fact that her boyfriend had gone to such lengths as well to find a ring that matched. He'd been trying for five years collect all of the square jewellery possible.'
Nam recalled the moment he accepted the ring: "I was like, 'Why are you crying? Because Other people claim that hearing the proposal made them cry. But now I know. I was so shocked and overwhelmed, and I'm just nervous," she chuckled.
The 35-year-old rose to fame after appearing on the MBC entertainment program 'Sunday Night' in 2005. Some of her acting credits include "Sunny," "Moon Embracing the Sun," and "Mugunghwa Flowers Bloom."
Nam ended her announcement with a request to her fiancé to "please take my hand" as they start their journey together.
