The reveal reportedly came while he and his co-star Lee Jung Jae played the hot wings challenge on the YouTube channel "First We Feast."

The game this week featured Lee Jung Jae, who quizzed the blog behind the cliffhanger ending of "Squid Game 2," pushing Lee Byung Hun to confirm any of the many popular fan theories.

Some of those theories were the island is a ship, as well as Gi-hun being Oh Il-nam's son, the Front Man — an undercover cop, etc.

Lee Byung-Hun forcefully answered back, "None of these is right."

Moments later, in a bit of banter, Lee Jung Jae called it out -- if Lee Byung-Hun wasn't gonna confirm any of the theories, then he could bite on a spicy wing instead.

In response, Lee Byung Hun retorted with a joke, saying, "Should I just leak the Season 3 ending instead? I would go that route instead."

Lee Jung Jae jokingly told him only to eat a portion of the wing, raising the prospect that he might also suffer if he spilled too much.

Lee Byung Hun then quipped about the ending, saying, "And then at the end of Season 3, the Front Man removes his black mask in front of Gi-hun and says: 'I was your father.' He immediately followed it up with sorry, getting a laugh from the production team.

When chewing on the hot wing, Lee Byung Hun yelled out, T"his is more than I thought. I usually like to lick my fingers afterward, but this made me second-guess myself."

In the wake of the second season of "Squid Game" being greenlit, speculation swirled about when the long-awaited third season would hit streaming sidewalks.

The season-two cliffhanger was so dramatic that fans are clamoring to see how the story goes from there.

The hit Korean Netflix drama, "Squid Game," remains a worldwide phenomenon.
