As per CelebZoom, the furor started when the actress, best known for her role in Disney's live-action remake of Mulan and the Chinese drama The Story of a Noble Family, posted a snap of herself in jeans by Le Fame.
Her fans went wild and started to buy everything she had posted about.
According to leaked posts on Le Fame's social media account, the employee told a customer that he looked better in the jeans than Chinese actress Liu Yifei - who described as "a bit fat."

Le Fame then issued a statement calling the employee's behavior a breach of its company service and conduct policies.
A spokesman for Le Fame said, as quoted by 8days: "We deeply regret and apologise for the negative impact caused by our employee's inappropriate remarks on her personal social media. We extend our sincerest apologies to consumers and fans."
It also emphasized the importance of enhancing training for all employees to boost their moral values, professional ethics, and service awareness.
The dismissal led to varied reactions on social media.
Some users defended the employee, arguing she was merely expressing her genuine thoughts, while others believed that sharing personal views from a brand-related account was inappropriate.
Additionally, some critics accused the brand of overreacting and questioned whether terminating the employee was warranted for such a minor incident.
