Park Bo Gum will host the new season of KBS's late-night music talk show, The Seasons, and become the first non-singer MC of the program.

Last year, the show had put on performances by artists including Jay Park, AKMU, and Zico, and as per KBiZoom, its 17th season will begin airing at 10 PM KST on March 14 under the title — which Park suggested himself — Park Bo-gum's Cantabile.
As for the name, Cantabile means "in a singing style," which relates to how Park loves to sing and, of course, is influenced by his 2014 drama, Tomorrow's Cantabile.

Park, who was active in Music from her beginnings in 2011, said "Music has always been an essential part of my career since my debut in 2011."
From different OSTs and different performances, the artist has shown his perfect musical talents, showing off his smooth voice and his great piano skills on shows like You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook and The Seasons - Zico's Artist, his musical prowess can be heard anywhere.
While this is Park's first time being MC for an actual music program, he has previously hosted other significant events, including the Baeksang Arts Awards and MAMA. He once aspired to be a singer and quipped at the prospect, saying, "I deeply admire musicians and am preparing for my first recording with great enthusiasm."
The preceding season, meanwhile, hosted by Lee Young-ji, finished on February 21 with disappointing ratings, peaking at 1.1% but crashing to 0.7% at its low. Fans and critics alike are wondering how Park will handle the transition after Lee's tearful exit.
With the arrival of spring, there is high hope that Park Bo-gum's Cantabile will resuscitate KBS' late-night music occupancy.
