Lee Min Ho Plans To Target Chinese Market This Year

Actor Lee Min Ho plans to spend more time in China this year, setting the grounds for his way to way into the entertainment market in China.

Lee Min Ho's agency StarHaus today established a subsidiary agency, StarHaus Entertainment China, and suggested a monopolization of Hallyu culture in China with its independent Korean agency in China. In addition, StarHaus Entertainment China is to collaborate with a popular entertainment agency in China, Hwai Brothers Media Group, which would guide many actors and actresses to launch their career in China. A person from StarHaus Entertainment said in an interview on January 29, 2014, "We are currently establishing a subsidiary in China for our group. We have planned this for a lone time, and StarHaus Entertainment China is going to operate in China independent of StarHaus Entertainment Korea."

Hwai Brothers Media Group is one of the 500 largest corporations in China, and a rare case of a privately owned entertainment group. Lee Min Ho and the group started collaborating back in 2009 when Lee Min Ho threw a concert in China.
