One of the hottest television actors today, Jake Johnson, recently confirmed that he will be joining the Jurassic World cast! Known for playing Nick Miller in the comedy series New Girl alongside Zooey Deschanel, Jake is slowly making a name for himself in the movie world.

Last year, Jake Johnson had his first starring role in the critically-acclaimed Drinking Buddies. This year, the actor shared his voice in The LEGO Movie and will headline the upcoming comedy film Let's Be Cops together with Damon Wayans. He will also appear in the Seth Rogen and Zac Efron movie called Neighbors.

The 35-year old actor reveald that he will be part of the Jurassic World cast during an interview with the Huffington Post. He was asked if he got involved in the new installment of Jurassic Park because of Colin Trevorrow, who was his director in the 2012 film Safety Not Guaranteed.

Jake said, "Absolutely. Now, I'm also a huge fan of Jurassic Park!" He revealed, "When I was growing up and Jurassic Park came out, I freaked out like every other kid. I was born in '78, so I was, like, 12."

The actor admitted, "If it wasn't Colin and someone said they wanted me in Jurassic Park, I would jump on it. The fact that it's Colin, written by Derek Connolly and both those guys are personal friends, I'd go through a wall."

Jake Johnson will play the character named Lowery, but there's not much revealed about his role in the movie yet. The other Jurassic World cast that will join him are Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong, Vincent D'Onofrio, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan, Nick Robinson, and Ty Simpkins.

The producers of Jurassic Park 4 are doing a great job keeping their plot a secret. But we will update you once we've discovered new leads and rumors. It's too early anyways since Jurassic World will be released on June 12, 2015.
