Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 reviews are jam packed with lots of info about the larger than iPad sized tab. In a good way of course.

Mike Lowe of Pocket-lint summarizes the Samsung Galaxy tab as having, "excellent display, lots of power, Android & Samsung software works well, decent battery life, multi-tasking options."

Essentially that sums up what this review is all about.

On the whole, Samsung has been in the tablet business for some time - one of its early success tabs was the P1000 and the Korean phone maker has been a big hit with tablets and smartphones - perhaps a unique distinction that Samsung holds, apart from Apple of course.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an Android 10.1-inch tablet that packs more power than the usual Samsung tab. It doesn't come with a S Pen stylus, but you probably won't need it since you're fingers do all the work and accurately too.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 wins easily in the high-res screen. The 2560 x 1600 pixel res. allows for tremendous detail and fit nicely in the 10.1-inch device rather than smartphones with exaggerated display power.

The TabPro 10.1 comes with a family of other tabs, a smaller 8.4-inch variant along with a larger 12.2-inch NotePro model, which might be a tad bit big for a comfortable walk in the park. For home, use the bigger screen would give you a bigger display screen and less strain on your eyes.

The TabPro upscaled with 'faux pas leather' is priced at $499 and the tab looks nice and neat.

At 299 pixel-per-inch density, the resolution is comparable to 368ppi in the 8.4-inch model.

Beneath the surface,"TabPro 10.1 has different hardware than its quad core Qualcomm-sporting 8.4-inch little brother. Instead it follows in the footsteps of the 12.2 NotePro: there's a 1.9GHz quad core and 1.3GHz quad core arrangement, the components of Samsung's Exynos octa core setup," according to PocketLint.

TabPro is built around the Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system, which is way more stable than its predecessor Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Samsung has a reputation for mixing and matching stock Android and making each device diferent.

And not to leave out the camera, the TabPro 10.1 has a rear-mounted 8-MP camera along with a front 2-MP cam. And don't worry about performance because the battery is 8220mAh
