It is official that "Mission Impossible 5" has started filming! A few months ago, there were reports that the cast and crew will shoot mostly in London. In fact, Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg even mentioned during their interviews that they will be working in the capital city of England.
The actor that plays Ethan Hunt told The Daily Telegraph, "I'm working on the next mission soon and we're shooting it here in London." The British comedian, who will return in the film as Benji Dunn, also gave out some details of their shooting. Pegg told Cinema Blend, "We're all ready to go on August 24, which is what I'm being told. As far as I know, we're all set to go. We've got location work first, and then the bulk of the filming will be in Leavesden [Studios], north of London. It's a nice one for me, to be near home."
In a separate report made by KFTV, they said that the "Mission: Impossible 5" will start shooting in Vienna before they go to the United Kingdom. And they are right because Tom Cruise and some of the cast members were seen in the beautiful Austrian city filming some scenes.
ComingSoon.net posted the first photos of "Mission: Impossible 5", which featured Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson. There are even pictures of the 52-year old actor and his leading lady on the rooftop of the Vienna Opera House. Luckily, some fans were able to capture a video of their daring stunt.
In the leaked footage, you will see Tom and Rebecca running on the rooftop then jump off the opera house with a harness. The actor was wearing a suit while the Swedish actress was seen wearing a long gown. The "Hercules" star even had a few wardrobe problems during filming.
According to Mail Online, "As they stepped off the stone ledge Rebecca's dress was caught in a breeze and the beauty's black underwear displayed as she wrapped her legs around the Jerry Maguire star." In a separate report made by Chicago Tribune, Tom Cruise helps Rebecca Ferguson up after she accidently falls over her dress while filming "Mission: Impossible 5" on the roof of the Vienna Opera house. Fans that were watching the scene laughed her out."
