Actress Shin Min Ah's first historical drama still shots for 'Arang' have been released. In the still shots Shin Min Ah portrays an eerie ghost girl.
'Arang' is MBCs new Wednesday/Thursday drama that is due to air in the end of July. The plot consists of a ghost with memory ataxia named Arang(Shin Min Ah) and Eun Oh(Lee Jun Ki) who has the ability to see ghosts who meets Arang and unfolds a mellow fantasy adventure drama.
'Arang' is Shin Min Ah's first drama production with MBC and also her first historical drama attempt. Shin Min Ah stated "aside from the typical ghost character, my character Arang is very bold and lively. She's cynical, harsh and selfish but a those traits make her even lovelier" And did not hide her love for the character she will be acting out.
Shin Min Ah, in one of the scenes for the drama scramble for the food that humans throw off for the ghost with other ghosts, and also acts out a scene where she chases and is chased by the angel of death. She is going to show a different look in this drama that she has never featured before.
She went onto state "Rather than preparing mainly for the action scenes I prepared for a lot of the emotional scenes that Arang becomes situated in."
Because 'Arang' will be directed by director Kim Sang Ho who in the past has directed 'Couple or Trouble' 'Can You Hear My Heart' and the writer will be Jung Yoon Jung who wrote the 'Chosun Police' series, it is receiving high expectation from the public. The casting consists of Lee Jun Ki, Shin Min Ah, Yeon Woo Jin, Yoo Seung Hoe and is confirmed to air at the end of July after 'I do I do.'
