As the fight of Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather is fast approaching, the Filipino boxer has off to Los Angeles for a training.

The local website Philippines Star reported that Manny Pacquiao has flown to Los Angeles on Feb. 28, Saturday at past 10 p.m. Philippine Time on a Philippine Airlines flight, with his advisor Mike Koncz and brother Bobby.

The site added that some of his team members could not book seats on the same flight where Pacquaio is on-board, but the team also left for LA on the same night via Vancouver.

Koncz said that Pacquiao will begin his two-month training at the Wild Card Gym in LA and added that they are not worried since they have nine weeks before the fight of the century will happen.

"What's important is that Manny's been going to the gym a lot the past few days - plus he's playing a lot of basketball lately," said Koncz.

The first week of Pacquaio's training will be under Buboy Fernandez then Freddie Roach, after Zou Shiming's fight in Macau on March 7.

Furthermore, Pacquiao has recorded his new song that will be used as the entrance song for his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., reports NESN.

Pacquaio is about to release his new song entitled "Lalaban ako para sa Pilipino" which translates "I Will Fight for the Philippines."

The said song will be used by Manny Pacquiao as his entrance song on the upcoming fight with Mayweather on May 2 at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.

Meanwhile, Juan Manuel Marquez offers some advice to WBO welterweight Pacquiao, in which, according to Boxing Scene, Marquez said that the only way to defeat Mayweather is through a knockout.

"I know how judges perform in Las Vegas, as we saw that fight where Jose Luis Castillo beat [Mayweather]. However, [the judges] gave it to Mayweather and Pacquaio has no alternative but to knock Mayweather out to end his undefeated record," said Marquez.

Marquez is referring to Mayweather's fight with Castillo in 2002, in which the Mexican challenger has done enough to win the battle but lost via a controversial unanimous decision.
