Shin Se Kyung's next drama will be a historical one. Her agency, Namoo Actors, confirmed that she is playing the female lead in the upcoming saeguk "Six Flying Dragons." She was the producers' first choice for the role and given her popularity in the recent drama "The Girl Who Sees Smells," she can be considered a welcome addition to any cast.
Her character's love interest in the drama has not yet been confirmed but will most likely be actor Yoo Ah In. She previously worked with Yoo in the 2012 drama "Fashion King." In that drama she played a designer and he played a man who started a fashion business.
The business of the fashion world will seem quite tame compared to the life and death political struggles in their new drama.
