Singer and actress Jang Nara was involved in a three-car car accident on the way to the set of her drama "I Remember You." Fortunately, the actress was not seriously hurt.

Representatives from her agency told the Korean media outlet TV Report that the accident happened at 12:50 a.m. KST on August 11. The accident took place at an intersection south of Seoul. A car hit another car, which in turn hit the car holding the 34-year-old actress and some of her staff members.

"Jang Nara was not seriously injured but is in a state of shock now," said her agency. "Her staff was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident but Jang Nara had to film her drama."

And it was not just any episode. She was on her way to film part of the final episode of her drama, which will be shown on Aug. 11.

"After she finished filming for the drama's last episode, she will head over the hospital for a comprehensive checkup. Her staff fortunately does not suffer from any serious injuries either."

The actress did report some minor neck pain but plans to get it treated after she finishes filming. Shortly after the accident the "Fated To Love You" and "Mr. Baek" star wrote her fans a reassuring message on Twitter.

"Thankfully, I am all right. It's just a minor injury. So don't worry about me. I'm currently filming."

Tight filming schedules often mean that an actor has to continue shooting a drama even though they are injured. In May actress Soo Ae was involved in an on-set car accident that left her injured but she could not stop filming. The 34-year-old actress was filming a scene for her drama "Mask" when a car backing out of a parking space hit her. Her agency, Star J Entertainment, said that she was taken to a local hospital and returned to the set after being treated. Despite wounds on her back and leg, she did not want to disrupt the filming for the opening episode of "Mask."

In 2014 Gong Hyo Jin was involved in a three-car collision while filming the drama "It's Okay, That's Love." The accident involved two freight trucks and she was lucky to walk away with only a broken arm. She returned to the set after being treated and continued to film. Gong did not seek further medical treatment until her drama ended.
