"Divergent" series star Theo James who plays the role of Tris' lover, four shared interesting insights about personal experiences. In a recent interview, Theo James opened up about work and why he chose films of different genres apart from his character's mainstream persona.
In his recent interview with Yareah, Theo James shared an old ghost story. Though, he did not say that he believes in one but the strange part of the story was that he couldn't make out where the nose was coming from.
"I don't think I believe in ghosts, per se. But, my nearest experience was when I went on a weekend away and was in a bar in England, years ago, with an ex-girlfriend. I heard this scratching. I was about to go to bed!" James said.
These days Theo James is working on the blockbuster franchise "Divergent." The upcoming movies in the series recentlyre-titling, Theo wants that in the upcoming films he will be recognized for his acting skills. He admitted coyly that he knows that these days he receives many offers because of his looks but wants to leave an impression in Hollywood through his acting.
Four from the "Divergent" series also explained that what keeps him in character is osmosis therapy rather than directly thinking about his character. When in the interview, he was asked about his recent Hugo Boss's new men's fragrance, Boss the Scent campaign, Theo praised the masculinity of the ad and old school look, which the director and costume designer gave him. Theo believes that it is more fun to do an ad as there is so much creativity involved.
"There's no dialogue, so you have to invent a story in your head. Otherwise, you're just standing there looking like a dude standing there." James said.
In conversation with Interview Magazine, the British actor expressed his need to do characters different from his character in "Divergent" series. He admits that he is working for a huge franchise on a long-term basis and that is why he has to be interesting and choosy with the projects. James admits that if he will work on films that has the same ground like "Divergent" then it would be easy to get along with the character but if he try something different then it would only add credibility to his career.
