‘Love And Hip Hop Atlanta’ Season 5: Star Margeaux Simms And Girlfriend Merike Fired

"Love And Hip Hop Atlanta," the famous reality show on VH1, is all set for season 5.

While the filming of "Love And Hip Hop Atlanta" season 5 is yet to start and the show is already taking dramatic twists and turns. Margeaux Simms and her girlfriend Merike Palmiste, who were about to be a part of the show have been fired from the cast.

Margeaux is Nikko London's ex-wife who left him for her now girlfriend Merike. Both the ladies were introduced to the show in season 4 and they had already signed contracts with VH1 for the new season. "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" Season 5 was set to feature the sudden twirl in the life and relationship of Nikko, Margeaux and Merike, when the producers decided to remove the duo from the cast before the start of the shoot, according to Christian Today.

Margeaux is famous for causing trouble ever since she joined the cast of season 4. She came from New York to Atlanta with her ex-husband Nikko before his sex tape scandal with co- star Mimi Faust came out.

In addition to being fired without any prior warning or explanation Margeaux and Merike didn't receive their release papers. They are still not free from their VH1 contracts and hence, cannot start working for any other show. The representatives of the two had contacted the producers of the show for their walking papers three weeks ago, but the producers are yet to respond, reported Fashion & Style.

"Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" is an Atlanta based follow-on of the show Love and Hip Hop and is on the verge of beginning it's shooting for its Season 5. It premiered with its first season on June 18th 2012 and portrays the lives of men and women of Atlanta who are associated to hip hop music. "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" is the highest rated series of the Love and Hip Hop franchise. It was renewed for its fifth season in October and is scheduled to be released in 2016.
