Singer-actor Im Siwan will return on the silver screen with "Stolen Identity." Meanwhile, he is also in discussions to appear in the drama "Tracer."
Im Siwan to Make Big Screen Comeback with "Stolen Identity"
According to broadcasting company CJ Entertainment, the thriller movie "Stolen Identity," which began its production in March 2021, had wrapped up filming on June 27.
The film is a combination of immersive storytelling and creative concepts, expected to captivate viewers. It will depict a naturalistic thriller that traces the incidents that happen when an ordinary company employee is threatened by a group of individuals after she loses her smartphone that contains all her personal information.
"Stolen Identity" is actually based on a Japanese bestseller novel and won a grand prize for its magnificent concept.
Im Siwan will portray the role of Joon Young, a cellphone technician who gets entangled with Na Mi, the lady who loses her phone. The actor shared that the filming set was filled with good energy and Im Siwan added the viewers could relate to the story of the upcoming film.
Joining him are Chun Woo Hee and Kim Hee Won.
The airing schedule for "Stolen Identity" is yet to be confirmed but the team is already in the process of post-production.

Im Siwan to Possibly Make Small Screen Return with "Tracer"
Aside from the mystery-suspense movie, Im Siwan is also offered to do another project - to star in the revenge K-drama "Tracer."
Plum Actors, his agency, stated, "Im Siwan received an offer to star in the series 'Tracer' and is currently reviewing the project."
If he accepts the offer, Im Siwan will portray Hwang Dong Joo, a new and competitive team manager of the Seoul Regional Office's Investigative Bureau.
Meanwhile, on June 30, it was reported that "The Beauty Inside" actress Go Ah Sung is also in talks to join the cast. Her agency Keyeast Entertainment confirmed that Go Ah Sung received a casting offer and is positively reviewing it.
Im Siwan's outstanding portrayal in OCN's "Strangers from Hell" in 2019 opened a lot of doors for the "Misaeng" star.

Im Siwan Instagram Update
Im Siwan played the character of Ki Seon Gyeom, a popular sprinter in the K-drama "Run On," but little did people know that the actor has long been into marathons. Over his Instagram, he often shows he's been running and doing various physical activities other than filming.
Im Siwan shared some snaps on his official Instagram account, and he also accepted the ice bucket challenge.
