It feels like a never-ending achievement for the Netflix show as the 9-part episode series will compete against Hollywood tv shows and films.
Scheduled to air live from Los Angeles on June 5, fans can also cast their votes at vote.mtv.com from May 18 while the final results will be released during the show.

The Hwang Dong Hyuk-directed series scored a nod for the Best Show Category. The thriller K-drama will compete against Euphoria, Inventing Anna, Loki, Ted Lasso, and Kevin Costner's Yellowstone.
Interestingly, "Squid Game" is the only non-American TV show nominated for the said category.
Meanwhile, Jung Ho Yeon once again proved her influence on the global audience as the model-actress was nominated for Breakthrough Performance.
The 27-year-old South Korean beauty will compete against Alana Haim for "Licorice Pizza," "West Side Story's" Ariana DeBose, Hannah Einbinder in "Hacks," and British actress Sophia Di Martino for her performance as Sylvie in "Loki."

On the other hand, Tom Holland and Zendaya's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" earned the most nods at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards for the film category, while HBO's "Euphoria" received the most nominations for TV category.
Jung Ho Yeon Spotted at Met Gala 2022
Before Jung Ho Yeon's 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards nomination, the 27-year-old star attended her first-ever Met Gala held on May 2 and took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City.
The runway model-actress strutted the red carpet wearing a suede cut-out mini dress from Louis Vuitton, where she also serves as the global ambassador.
Joining her are LV's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière and fellow ambassador Emma Stone, who dons the Maison's collection.
Interestingly, Jung Ho Yeon and NCT's Johnny were spotted together at the Met Gala 2022.
The Kpop star even posted their selfies on his Instagram story.
Jung Ho Yeon's First Hollywood Movie, TV Series
From the first Met Gala to her first Hollywood movie, Jung Ho Yeon will also be starring in an international film based on a French novel.
As obtained by Newsis, the actress' agency confirmed that she is set to appear in "The Governess.
"Jung Ho Yeon has been cast to play a lead role in 'The Governesses,' which will be directed by Joe Talbot," the talent management announced.
The South Korean star will be joined by Lily-Rose Depp and Renate Reinsve as lead stars and will portray the role of three governesses.
In addition, Variety revealed that Jung Ho Yeon is one of the casts of the upcoming tv show directed by acclaimed director Alfonso Cuarón.
The Apple TV+ series "Disclaimer" stars Cate Blanchett, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kevin Kline, and Kodi Smit-McPhee, while the "Squid Game" star will play the role of Kim.
