'Physical: 100' Participant Faces 7 Years of Jail Time & 80 Hours of Education
A month after the Netflix reality competition aired its finale, the show's alum made headlines after he got investigated by the police for suspicion of assulting his girlfriend.
Following a series of investigations, the said "Physical: 100" alum, who is also a former national team rugby player, was sentenced to 7 years in prison for sexual assault.
At the height of the issue, netizens speculated that the person behind the issue was Jang Seong Min. He is a rugby player and part of the South Korean national team that competed at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
During his stint in "Physical: 100," he showed great strength, which made him the team Leader in Quest 2, also known as the "moving challenge."
Moreover, he also advanced to the first round after beating sireum player and "goddess on the sand" Jang Min Ji.
On the other hand, as suspicions grew regarding the incident, Jang Seong Min deactivated his social media accounts, including Instagram.
As for Netflix, the streaming giant released an official statement saying that they will "look into the details of the incident."
