In a new appearance on the February 26 episode of tvN's You Quiz on the Block, actress Han Ga In cleared up some misunderstandings about how she raises her kids.
During the show, host Yoo Jae Uk asked Han about all her activities, including her priorities as a mother.
"Other than the filming, I am just a mom,' said Han Gain before adding, "There's one thing that I need to clarify today."
The actress vehemently denied allegations that she was putting academic pressure on her children.
"I do not force my children to study as much as people believe," she said. According to Han, her children are not the type to be forced into studying.
"The thing is, I never got to find out what I really like—so I only really started doing that after 40. I hope my kids find that out long before I did," she said of what she hopes for her children.
Han Ga In was similarly forthcoming when the topic of her children came up, discussing her parenting style and emphasizing the importance of maintaining a peaceful home.
"I will never argue in front of my kids. And I can tell you from experience it is impactful. I don't even give my husband a sidelong scowl in front of them,' she said.
Meanwhile, Han Ga-in also spoke about personal struggles, the miscarriages she went through, and her parents' problems in an emotional message.
You Quiz on the Block is a variety show where hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho have conversations with different celebrities. It airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM KST.
