Popular Malaysian singer-actress Bella Astillah is again the talk of the town due to reports that she is dating convicted politician Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

According to The New Straits Times, they were recently spotted together in public, igniting speculation about their relationship status.

Astillah, 30, and her ex-husband, Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz, finalized their second divorce on June 13, 2024.

The pair divorced in 2019 over cheating allegations against Aziz and were later back together for five years before splitting once again.

During a press conference held in April 2024, Astillah accused Aziz of having affairs with 11 women, including her sister.

Aziz admitted to being unfaithful during an interview with TheCommonFolks SG YouTube channel, but he did not divulge details.

"The numbers, to be frank, are ones that I don't really pay attention to," he said. "But I don't think there's any reason to dwell on the past. [Bella Astillah] said what she said I know myself."

The rumors surrounding Astillah's love life intensified after she appeared in a dance challenge video with Syed Saddiq on her TikTok account in January.

At 32 years old, the politician — who is appealing his conviction while still serving as a Member of Parliament for Muar — is serving a seven-year prison sentence on multiple corruption-related charges and has already received two strokes of the cane.

Astillah and Syed Saddiq have been seen together on a number of occasions since the viral TikTok, including an outing to Parliament this week with Astillah's eldest child, Ayden Adrean.

The trio posed for photos with parliamentary workers, adding more fuel to the dating rumors.

In her statement, Astillah said: "It would be best if (I) put aside personal business to focus on improving my singing and acting as well as on my children and family."
