Justin Bieber's tattoo craze might set a record in the Guinness Books to be titled 'The Highest Altitude Tattoo'. The Canadian pop sensation and "Baby" singer reportedly had his ink at 40,000 feet up in the air. The tattoo was done by Bang Bang, the famous tattoo artist when Bieber was flying between Panama to Canada.
Bang Bang has inked several celebrities to include Katy Perry and Rihanna. When Justin Bieber popped out the idea of getting a tattoo done during fly, Bang Bang, born Keith McCurdy told New York Daily News, "I've gotta admit that my adrenaline was through the roof. I didn't anticipate it would be so difficult."
Justin Bieber's tattoo involved inking a cross at the centre of his chest and "Forgive" near the singer's right hip bone. With turbulent weather conditions, the flight was extremely bumpy thus making a tattoo during the flight seemed like a Herculean feat.
The inking took place on January 28, in Justin Bieber's private jet, following the pop-singer's arrest in Miami on charges of DUI and drag racing.
Justin Bieber took to Twitter to thank the artist. He tweeted, "'Love!!!! @seunghyunjotattoos great job man'. Before adding: 'I love Korea', to caption his snap of his arm," Daily Mail UK reports.
Justin Bieber' tattoo showed just how heavily inked his arms have become. He added a few more to his tattoo collection including a Japanese Kanji symbol for 'music', the word 'Trust', a Koi fish and a striking eye on the inside of his elbow.
Justin Bieber's eye tattoo, however, is one of the Canadian crooner's most personal pieces. It is apparently a tribute to his mother Pattie Mallette, according to MTV.
Justin later got to Instagram promising fans that he's not getting another one soon and wrote a caption, "Done with tats (tattoos) 4 (for) a while... Where I wanna be..."
