Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date Specs Rumors; Google's Android L Support, Announcement To Mimic S5 At MWC 2015: The Samsung Galaxy S6 release date and specs rumors are making waves on the Internet. With its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S6 on sale for just a couple of months, it will be a tough choice for Samsung fans to switch to a new flagship. And we thought the Samsung Galaxy S5 came with numerous extra features - aqua-proof, dust-proof, water resistant - when it was announced during the Mobile World Congress 2014, earlier this year.
Nonetheless, techies on a tight budget may think twice about upgrading a Samsung Galaxy every two months. Of course, the iPhone 6 due in September is another hot item Galaxy users might be contemplating. Other flagships due for release are Nexus 6, and Galaxy Note 4.
Unofficial Release Date - MWC 2015
Since there is no official word on the release date, it's best not to expect one in 2014. One reason for the lack of a formal time-frame from Samsung are reports that cite the iPhone 6 5.5" display will be delayed until 2015. And analysts speculate, Samsung will want to launch the Samsung Galaxy S6 after hotly anticipated iPhone 6 is released, probably during the Mobile World Congress 2015.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Specifications
The Galaxy S6 screen resolution is most likely the Quad HD (1440 x 2560) trailing the LG G3 release, says TechAdvisor. The Samsung Galaxy S5 got a lot of heat for its plastic covering and the Samsung Galaxy S6 is most likely going to be covered in graphene.
The new flagship will be outfitted with a new TouchWiz interface and if the new Android L is in the market, the S6 will operate on the latest OS. The Samsung Galaxy s6 will run on Qualcomm's 64-bit supported by Android L.
With no word on the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will carry the same camera as the S5, which is a 13MP with improvements or have definitively superior camera sporting a 20MP.
