Kim Hye Sung sustained injuries from an automobile accident, which occurred while he was sitting in a packed car. On September 26, MK News published an article which outlined the details of the incident and provided a statement from his agency, Namoo Actors.
"Kim Hye Sung was taking a break in his parked car, in a parking lot, while waiting for shooting to resume," said a spokesperson for Namoo Actors. "A speeding car crashed into his."
According to the report, the rear of his vehicle was severely damaged from the collision. A representative for Namoo Actors went on to describe the injuries sustained by Kim, as a result of the accident.
"Kim Hye Sung sustained neck and back injuries, he will receive medical treatment at the hospital," said the agency spokesperson.
The article continued to address the incident, noting the other individuals who were injuries during the collision.
"His manager and stylist were also in the vehicle, at the time," said the Namoo Actors representative. "They will receive also receive treatment."
The 27-year-old actor is preparing for his appearance on an upcoming tvN program.
He previously held supporting roles in films including "71: Into the Fire" and portrays Ji Kwang in "The Chosen: Forbidden Care."
His last K-Drama appearance was on the 2009 series, "High Kick Through the Roof." He previously maintained a leading role in "High Kick!" In addition, he was the host Mnet's "Boys and Girl's Music Countdown," with Tiffany of Girls' Generation.
